Main Street Theater (MST) continues its partnership with Prague Shakespeare Company (PSC) in presenting PSC's TWELFTH NIGHT by William Shakespeare. MST Artistic Director Rebecca Greene Udden directed this production in Prague in January, and now MST is bringing TWELFTH NIGHT to Houston for a limited run. Fresh off its wildly successful run in Prague, TWELFTH NIGHT comes to Main Street Theater. "If music be the food of love, play on..." A sprightly new production of Shakespeare's mischievous and glorious romantic comedy of desire and mistaken identity featuring Her Britannic Majesty's Ambassador to the Czech Republic Jan Thompson, OBE as Olivia, Jessica Boone as Viola, and Guy Roberts as Sir Toby Belch. Directed by Main Street Theater Artistic Director Rebecca Greene Udden.
The show plays Wednesdays - Saturdays at 7:30pm; Sundays at 3:00pm; SPECIAL PERFORMANCE: Tuesday, January 5 (actual TWELFTH NIGHT) - 7:30pm. TWELFTH NIGHT will play at Main Street Theater - Rice Village, 2540 Times Blvd. Tickets are $39 - $20, depending on date and section, and are on sale via phone at 713.524.6706 or online at MainStreetTheater.com.
