Scriptwriters/Houston and the Museum of Printing History are sponsoring their fifth annual collaborative theater festival.
This year’s event is a multi-venue show that features the entire museum. Audiences will be led on a tour of the museum with stops along the way for theatrical presentations.
Seven one-act plays, all penned by Houston playwrights, will be performed during this innovative evening of theater. Contributing playwrights include Rachel Dickson, Conor Farrell, Gwen Flager, Nicholas Garelick, Pat Morgan, Christine Weems, and Michael Weems.
The plays will be directed by Julia Becker, Rachel Dickson, Jack Dunlop, Jillian Nolan, Erica Smith, Lauren Tunnell, and Christine Weems. Fifteen local actors will be featured in the performance.
“Night at the Museum” will be performed on October 26th and 27th and on November 2nd and 3rd at the Museum of Printing History (1324 W. Clay). Each night will feature four performances, starting at 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, and 8:30. Each tour will be approximately 80 minutes long.
