National Youth Theater (NYT) will perform the live musical production of Les Misérables - School Edition, November 9th-11th & 17th-18th, at the Lone Star College-Tomball Performing Arts Center, 30555 Tomball Parkway, Tomball, TX 77375.

An epic, Broadway-style show, eTickets are available now for only $12 per person at

www.nationalyouththeater.org . Tickets will be offered at the door for $15 per person, depending upon availability. Due to thematic elements, NYT recommends this production for ages 10 and up.

"To love another person is to see the face of God." (Epilogue, Les Misérables) Les Mis, a beautiful classic based upon Victor Hugo's novel, has been running continuously since 1985. Featuring one of the most memorable scores of all time, this multi-award-winning production is as groundbreaking today as when it first premiered.

The production follows Jean Valjean in 19th century France, after he is released from years of unjust imprisonment. After finding nothing in store but mistrust and mistreatment, he breaks parole in hopes of starting a new life. This begins Valjean's lifelong struggle for redemption, as he is relentlessly pursued by police inspector Javert, who fervently believes, "Once a thief, forever a thief." Finally, during the Paris student uprising in 1832, Javert must confront his ideals after Valjean spares his life and also saves the student revolutionary who captured the heart of Valjean's adopted daughter, Cosette.

In addition to a hauntingly poignant storyline and magnificent songs, this musical is full of period costumes and grand sets. Also, NYT's cast really makes the stage come to life! Director Dr. Lisa Morales: "Les Misérables is more than a story. It's truly an exploration of the human need for mercy. Where there is no mercy, there is no hope; when mercy is extended in big or small ways, the chance for transformation exists. Not only is it such a compelling human story, but also it has an amazing musical score. The music is powerful and speaks directly to the heart and senses. Additionally, NYT's production of Les Mis features a beautiful cast, a powerhouse chorus, and unique visual components. We've prepared a very special experience that you will want to share with your friends and family - join us!"

National Youth Theater (NYT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Christian ministry with the mission of engaging students in life-changing experiences through the performing arts. For more information, please visit www.nationalyouththeater.org .
