Tonight, August 31, the acclaimed singing group THE Midtown Men begin a three night run with the Houston Symphony. This marks the premiere of the symphonic version of the act's 2012/2013 "Sixties Hits" tour, which kicked off August 18th in Asbury Park.
The Midtown Men will now feature an 85-piece symphony under the direction of accomplished conductor Michael Krajewski for three nights over Labor Day weekend. The performance will feature classic hits from the 1960s rock n' roll scene including "California Dreamin'," "Happy Together, "Up on the Roof," "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" and many more.The special guest arranger for these shows is Grammy and Emmy award-winner John McDaniel. McDaniel is the renowned music director and arranger whose credits include the Tony Awards, Broadway productions of Grease and Chicago, and countless concert appearances with Cab Calloway, Shirley McLaine, Tyne Daly and other luminaries.Videos
