Celebrate an artistic collaboration 61 years in the making as one of America's most revered actors, Hal Holbrook, returns to the stage of The Grand 1894 Opera House in his legendary one-man show, Mark Twain Tonight, tonight, February 27, 2015 at 8pm. Tickets may be purchased at The Grand's Box Office, 2020 Postoffice Street, by calling 409.765.1894, 800.821.1894, or online at www.thegrand.com.

The beauty and intimacy of The Grand provide the perfect setting for this encore performance by Mr. Holbrook, who celebrates his 90th birthday on February 17, 2015! Born in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in South Weymouth, Massachusetts, Holbrook was a student at Denison University in Ohio when he began his life-long fascination with American author, humorist, and storyteller Mark Twain.

How has Hal Holbrook continued to inspire audiences after more than 2,200 performances of the longest running show in American theatre history? During his live performances, Holbrook molds and shapes selections from a vast array of stories and witty lines encompassing a remarkable 20 hours of material. The result is a night of fresh, improvisational conversation that never fails to delight appreciative audiences. His performance is sponsored in part by A Friend of Satori School, Texas Commission on the Arts and National Endowment for the Arts.
