Law goes with order. Singing goes with dancing. And this summer, Houston's own Lawyers Entertaining for Charity, Night Court will be bringing all of the above to the stage at the Hobby Center August 17th through 20th. Texas Law and Order will be an uproarious send-up of TV cop and legal dramas combined with political and election situations ripped from today's headlines. Texas Law and Order will feature the music of Motown, The Blues Brothers, Bruno Mars, Adele and, of course, a tribute to Prince.
The show has also been accredited for two hours of ethics CLE by the State Bar of Texas as the show uses humor to illustrate dos and don'ts for Texas lawyers who attend. In addition to the cast, crew, and orchestra full of lawyers, fans and Houston corporate sponsors are the foundation of Night Court's quarter century of philanthropic fun. "We couldn't do it without Night Court's loyal audience and our generous sponsors," says Executive Producer Scott Davenport. He added "and we are going to have a lot of fun highlighting those folks as we play with our tv source material." At the higher levels, sponsors are written into the show. This year's top sponsors to date, Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc., The Common Source, LP, Dr. Michael J. Heard of the Heard Clinic and U.S. Legal Support, Inc. will be featured with song and dance applauding their great work.Videos
