Katy Visual and Performing Arts Center's Summer Camp Broadway Series presents Peter Pan, Annie Jr., High School Musical 2, Disney's SLeeping Beauty Kids, and School House Rock Live!

KVPAC's Summer Camp Broadway Series Presents Peter Pan: The classic play begins in the London nursery of Wendy, John, and Michael Darling, where the three children are visited by Peter Pan, the boy who refuses to grow up. With the help of his tiny friend, the fairy Tinkerbell, Peter takes the three children on a magical flight to Never Land. This enchanted island is home to Peter, Tink, the Lost Boys, Tiger Lily and her Native American nation, and the scheming Captain Hook who is as intent on defeating Peter Pan as he is from escaping the tick-tocking crocodile. KVPAC's Summer Camp Broadway Series Presents Annie Jr.: As an infant, Annie had been abandoned on the front steps of The New York City Municipal Orphanage with a note from her parents promising to return for her someday. Life in the orphanage had been rough under the strict hand of Miss Hannigan, but Annie's life was about to change. Billionaire Oliver Warbucks invites Annie to spend Christmas with him in his mansion, and together, they each discover new happiness. Friday, July 10 at 7pm & Saturday, July 11 at 2pm and 7pm. KVPAC's Summer Camp Broadway Series Presents High School Musical 2: School is out for the summer, and the Wildcats are looking forward to some fun in the sun. Sharpay sets her sights on Troy and cooks up a scheme to get him a summer job at daddy's country club in Lava Springs. When Troy gets all his friends, including girlfriend Gabriella, a job there too, Sharpay is incensed. The Wildcats vow to make it the summer of their lives, but spoiled Sharpay vows to catch Troy and get the rest of her classmates fired. Friday, July 24 at 7pm & Saturday, July 25 at 2pm and 7pm. KVPAC's Summer Camp Broadway Series Presents Disney's Sleeping Beauty Kids: It's Princess Aurora's sixteenth birthday, and Flora, Fauna and Merryweather must use their fairy magic to save her from the spell of evil sorceress Maleficent! Join King Stefan, Queen Stefanie and their Loyal Subjects, as well as Maleficent's slimy Goons, in this classic fairy tale told Disney-style. KVPAC's Summer Camp Broadway Series Presents School House Rock Live!: Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher nervous about his first day of teaching, tries to relax by watching TV when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such beloved Schoolhouse Rock songs as "Just A Bill," "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly" and "Conjunction Junction."
