Houstonian and internationally renowned performer Jef Johnson brings his "playful encounter," OPEN SPACE, to Houston for two performances only.
Known for his groundbreaking contemporary clown philosophy, Jef has worked with Cirque du Soleil as well as SLAVA'S SNOWSHOW on Broadway. Every performance is different. Every show is improvised live.
OPEN SPACE is a joyful exploration of both the shared physical space in which audiences join Jef and their shared time. Throughout the evening, Jef embodies the persona of his wonderfully eccentric, silly, and empathetic Clown figure to seek out connections with the audience and the space around him, resulting in a powerful and often hilarious evening of live theater.
