CURTAINS Makes Houston Debut At Theatre Under The Stars!
Family Friendly "Whodunit" Musical Comedy Will Run
March 29 - April 10!
Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) will present CURTAINS, a clever "whodunit" musical comedy guaranteed to knock ‘em dead, March 29 - April 10 at Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. Based on the book by Rupert Holmes, this Broadway gem features the razzle-dazzle musical style of celebrated songwriting duo John Kander and Fred Ebb, the same pair behind hits like Cabaret and Chicago.
CURTAINS follows the unraveling of a theatre company shortly after the leading actress is knocked off on opening night. Detective Frank Cioffi, a musical theatre fan, takes on the case only to find himself dealing with theatrical egos and eccentricities, deceit, a rising body count and a budding love affair - all while sticking to the golden rule of show business: the show must go on. A throwback to the Golden Age of theatre, CURTAINS will be a musical murder mystery that keeps everyone guessing until the very end!
In celebration of CURTAINS, Theatre Under The Stars will offer a number of special events and opportunities:
