It's all for one and one for all as THE THREE MUSKETEERS ride into the Houston Family Arts Center (HFAC). Based on the classic novel by Alexander Dumas, Ken Ludwig has adapted this swashbuckling tale for the stage. The adventure begins March 20, 2015 and runs through April 12 in the Garza Mainstage Theatre.

Based on the timeless novel by Alexandre Dumas and adapted by Tony award-winning playwright, Ken Ludwig, THE THREE MUSKETEERS is a rousing adventure about heroism, treachery, friendship and honor. Set in 1625, d'Artagnan's quest to become a Musketeer propels him and his sister, Sabine, into a royal scandal comprised of a bitter rivalry between King Louis XIII and the evil Cardinal Richelieu. In a comical, yet fateful twist, d'Artagnan teams up with Athos, Porthos and Aramis, otherwise known as "The Three Musketeers," to protect the King, Queen and all of France in this action-packed adventure for the entire family.

Director Michael Montgomery has this to say about HFAC's production of THE THREE MUSKETEERS, "If you're familiar with the Alexander Dumas classic, The Three Musketeers, you most likely have a preconceived notion of what to expect from this performance. However, we've taken this timeless tale and captured the true paradox of good and evil through unexpected measures: bold costume choices, elegant fight choreography, character development, and fast-paced, adventurous staging. Intimately presented on the Garza Mainstage, you will be encompassed in a world of pure aesthetic value, heart-stopping adventure, swordsmanship, and beauty. We invite you to lose yourself in this production, as we take you on a journey down the paths of honor, love, and adventure."

Bringing 1625 France to life along with Director Michael Montgomery are Fight Choreographer Jonny Ringo, Scenic Designer Misty Hale, Costume Designer Amber Stepanik, Choreographer Dru Weiser, Lighting Designer John Wind, Sound Designer David Dean, Stage Manager Stephanie Wisdom and Producer Julie Montgomery. The dueling cast members include: Cole Pfaffenberger (d'Artagnan), Jordan O'Neal (Aramis), Manny Longoria (Athos), Jared Barnes (Porthos), Mark Mendelsohn (Cardinal Richelieu), Ben Granger (Rochefort), Adrian Collinson (Treville), Ragan Richardson (Milady), Morgan Montgomery (Sabine), Kristen Malisewski (Constance), Sean Thompson (King Louis), and Jennifer Finch (Queen Anne).
