The Houston Tidelanders Chorus, an all-male a capella group, will present its popular Good Time performances at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 15500 El Camino Real, Houston, 77062 on Saturday, April 28, at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The chorus sings four-part barbershop harmonies and will bring their rich sound to a variety of songs including patriotic, barbershop originals, show tunes, standards, and recent hits. The Houston Tidelanders Chorus is funded in part by grants from the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance.
The Good Time matinee performance at 1:30 p.m. includes popcorn and soft drinks for guests for $12.00 per person (students and seniors $10.00). At the 6:30 p.m. performance guests will be served tamales and nachos along with beer, wine and soft drinks for just $25.00 per person. Please note tickets will not be sold at the door.
About the Chorus
The Houston Tidelanders Chorus is an all-male, a capella group dedicated to the performance of four-part barbershop harmonies for more than 72 years. The non-profit organization presents annual Good Time and Christmas performances, as well as pro bono community performances. Members of the chorus work to bring the joy of music to Houston-area students through in-school performances. A member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, the chorus and its quartets have successfully competed in both national and international competitions.
