"Deborah Boily SOLO" will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the live recording of her CD, "Thank You For The Music" and will unveil another side of her musical expertise, the songs of the musical theater where it all started for her. The first part of the show will be entitled "Roles I Never Got To Play."
Deborah says of this show, "The great thing about being a creator of your own cabaret shows is that you can actually end up performing those roles you did not get cast in through the years. When I was younger, I was an alto who loved the songs sung by sopranos. Thus the dilemma I came up against: a character actress with an ingénue look, BUT I found a way to make it all work by doing those wonderful songs I love so much my own way!" The second half of the show will be music from Deborah's first album, "The Song Remembers When," and her latest CD "Thank You For The Music." Audience favorites, "Austin" and "Not Exactly Paris" will definitely be included.
Deborah lived in Paris in the mid 1990's and fulfilled a dream of living and singing in her beloved city. She then moved to London where she performed in every cabaret venue in town before coming back to the US.
