Company OnStage presents Treasure Island, by Toby Hulse, and directed by Karla Brandau, and by special arrangement with Plays for Young Audiences of Minneapolis, MN.

Based on the beloved story by Robert Louis Stephenson, Treasure Island is the story of Long John Silver and his pirate crew told from the spirited imagination of a young girl. Emily dreams of being a pirate, although wanting to be a businesswoman would be more sensible. Her dream comes to life in this humorous and sometimes irreverent version of Stevenson's classic tale, where she is Jim Hawkins in the story of wicked pirates, good old English pluck and buried treasure.

Treasure Island is a full length production and is appropriate for all ages. Performances are Friday evenings at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. from June 17 - July 16, 2016. Tickets are $10.00 for all seats and available through our online box office via our website at www.companyonstage.org. Reservations are strongly recommended. A ten ticket package may be purchased for $75.00. A benefit with champagne reception and silent auction will take place at the Friday, July 15th performance. All proceeds benefit Company OnStage and its programs. The Company OnStage Theater was founded in 1977 by Joyce Randall McNally, a former associate director of the Alley Theater, along with her husband Hank McNally. COS was recently displaced from its home of 33 years at the now defunct Westbury Square shopping center, and is currently performing in its original location in McPhail Hall at St. John's Presbyterian Church.
