Company OnStage presents {adjective}[noun], by Nicholas Garelick, and directed by Lauren Hainley.

Audience Advisory: Due to mature themes and adult situations, this show is appropriate for people ages 16 and up, Plutonians who have passed the time of the Snurggle, and talking orange cats in bowties.

Absurdist. Deconstructionist. Sagittarian. The works of award-winning playwright Nicholas Garelick have delighted audiences throughout Houston for years. A graduate of the University of Houston and former President of Scriptwriters/Houston, Nicholas came into the theatre world through the ancient medium of Dungeons & Dragons, and his skill at world-building and an altered view on society have led to some of the most thought-provoking mirth since jesters became obsolete with the invention of the flute.

Presented here in a theatrical symphony of laughter and passion are a specially curated selection of some of his favorite short works. Filled with boundless hilarity, heart-wrenching beauty, and an almost post-sane level of the preposterous, this limited engagement is not one to be missed!

Included are some of Nicholas' most iconic works, including Catching Falling Stars, Death Station Dance Revolution, and Map of the Atoms of the Universe, along with some brand new material, and favorites that have yet to be performed for a Houston audience.

With an unparalleled company of actors (Kacie Adams, Audrey Burkhart, Dano Colon, Ty Fisher, Aaron Garrett, Elizabeth Grant, Bailey Hampton, Renata Smith, and Todd Thigpen) and direction from the adequate Lauren Hainley, there is a non-zero chance this will be the best {noun} you've had since [life event]!

Performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays November 8 to 17, 8:00 pm. Tickets are $18.00 and are available through our box office at www.companyonstage.org. The Company OnStage Theater was founded in 1977 by Joyce Randall-McNally, a former associate director of the Alley Theater, along with her husband Hank McNally. After being displaced from its home of 33 years at the now defunct Westbury Square shopping center, Company OnStage has moved to its new performance home on the grounds of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Company OnStage is a community theater in every sense of the word. We are an organization that is 100% volunteer driven - we are members of the community coming together from all walks of life to provide a service to the community. Every actor, every director, every member of the production team, every usher, every box office volunteer, every donor, every patron IS The Company OnStage. We are committed to serving the community by offering professional quality performances of contemporary and classic theater for children and adults in an intimate setting at affordable prices.
