14 Pews Opens Bechdel Film Festival at MFAH, 2/15

14 Pews opens its Bechdel Film Festival on February 15, 2018 with a screening of BOMBSHELL: THE HEDY LAMARR STORY at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. But it has a lot more in store.

Before the 7 p.m. screening of BOMBSHELL: THE HEDY LAMARR STORY, 14 Pews serves up happy hour at the Beck porte cohere and authentic Puerto Rican food from Mi Garita, a food-truck operated by two women. And organizers have added two screenings of short films on Saturday and Sunday to accomodate the many out-of-town filmmakers visiting and two extra cocktail mixers because the girls just wanna have fun!
