CSz Houston, home of ComedySportz, Houston's longest running show, will relocate from it's current home at 901 Town and Country Boulevard. The building has been sold, and the new owners will develop a residential complex in it's place. The last shows at this location will be Saturday August 30, 2014. "After ten years in this location, we'll say goodbye to the bricks and mortar with a huge ComedySportz match to include many of the current and former players on the field. We expect over 25 improvisers to hit the ComedySportz field that night," says Founder Dianah Dulany. "This west Houston location has been great to us, and we will remain in the neighborhood." Although not ready to announce the new address just yet, Dulany says: "We are excited about the possibilities this move will bring. We expect to move into a larger space so we can better accommodate our patrons."

Until the new location is ready, CSz will produce it's world-renown ComedySportz matches at the Holiday Inn Houston West-Energy Corridor, located at 1112 Eldridge Parkway at Enclave, just south of Memorial Drive. Easily accessible to a number of dining and shopping options, this hotel offers award-winning hospitality experiences. The Holiday Inn Houston West-Energy Corridor also features plenty of parking, their on-site Sporting News Bar & Grill, and expanded concessions offerings for the ComedySportz matches, including a full bar and ballpark concessions

Much like the television program "Whose Line is it Anyway?," ComedySportz is fast-paced fun for everyone. During a match, two teams of comedians battle for laughs and points as they make up scenes, games and songs on the spot. The audience votes for the winners and a referee calls the fouls. Each match is different since new games are played and new suggestions are taken from the audience every time.

ComedySportz Houston was founded in 1990 by native Texan Dianah Dulany, who was a member of the original ComedySportz troupe in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Now a Heights resident, she returned to Texas to open the franchise and continues to act as Artistic Director and Producer of the show. The Houston troupe competes annually at the ComedySportz World Championship, having placed third in the League of twenty-four clubs this year. The troupe is also active in the community, bringing the ComedySportz games and format to high school students. The current High School League consists of teams from Cy Fair ISD, Houston ISD, Katy, ISD, and Spring Branch ISD. These schools compete with each other throughout the academic year, as well as participate in a local tournament in May.

Csz will present ComedySportz matches at the Holiday Inn Houston West-Energy Corridor every Friday and Saturday night at 8pm starting September 5, 2014. Admission is $18 for adults, $16 for students, seniors and military. Discounts for groups and students are also available. The public information number is 713-868-1444. As always, CSz Houston is also available for corporate and private events as well as corporate training and team building.
