CSz Houston Adds New Shows to Schedule

CSz Houston, the home of ComedySportz, is excited to be adding more shows to their hit comedy line up. The newest show to make the lineup is called "(713)" and will put a local spin on a popular improv comedy genre. "We wanted to create a show that Houstonians can relate to at a local level," says Benji Cooksey, Co-Owner of CSz Houston. "The improv community around the country is starting to see that each major market is producing shows that are unique to their own style and community and we are thrilled to continue to do that in new ways here in Houston."

"(713)" will be performed on Fridays at 10:30pm at Queensbury Theatre (12777 Queensbury Ln, Houston, TX 77024) and the show will focus on audience suggestions based off of experiences from living in Houston. The show will also feature live music that will be incorporated into the different scenes and games in a given night.

Along with their new show, CSz Houston will also be continuing the dynamite formula of their UNSCRIPTED works with "Back to the Future: UNSCRIPTED." Incorporating audience suggestions into well-known movies and tales - the CSz Houston pros reshape old and familiar stories into something new and hilarious! The key structure and memorable characters are maintained, however comical changes are bound to occur under the influence of audience suggestions. This show is for ages 17+ and takes place every Saturday at 10:30pm.

In addition to the weekend line up, CSz Houston is extending it's run of"Improv: The Musical!," Houston's only fully improvised musical, every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. That's right, everything in this musical is made up on the spot! The storyline, the music and the choreography is all inspired by the name of the musical - which is provided by you! Audiences are raving about the show saying, "This was the best hour and a half I have spent in the theater in a long time. It was nonstop fun and so very clever." Due to potential adult situations and content, guests 16 and younger must be accompanied by a parent.
