Tony, Emmy and two-time Golden Globe-nominee Matthew Morrison will join the Houston Symphony in a spectacular performance of Broadway hits and crooner classics at 8 p.m. March 24-26.

The multi-talented star will perform a medley of songs from his Broadway career including Finding Neverland, South Pacific, Hairspray and The Light in the Piazza, for which he received a Tony award nomination. Other songs on the program include 20th century songbook favorites "Come Fly With Me" and Duke Ellington's "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" as well as songs from his two albums.

Led by Principal POPS Conductor Designate Steven Reineke, the orchestra will also be joined by pianist Brad Ellis, known by fans of the hit TV show Glee as the quiet piano teacher and accompanist for the high school students. Ellis is a star in his own right; he is a composer, musical director, singer and jazz pianist who has arranged music for the Los Angeles Philharmonic and composed for many television shows and films, including Gilmore Girls.

The concert will take place at Jones Hall for the Performing Arts, 615 Louisiana Street, in Houston's Theater District. For tickets and information, please call (713) 224-7575 or visit www.houstonsymphony.org. Tickets may also be purchased at the Houston Symphony Patron Services Center in Jones Hall (Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.). All programs and artists are subject to change.
