Banks Brothers Productions will be presenting the Stage Production "The Caroler" just in time for the Christmas Season for a limited run in December at Midtown Art Center 3414 La Branch.

The Caroler, written by playwright Tammy Harris from Florida and directed by Vincent Victoria, tells the story of local community church's search for a lead Carolist for the holidays.

Says Victoria "The Caroler has elements of the classic 1970's movie "Sparkle" where a talented leader of a girl group gets caught up in drugs and other show business temptations that leads to tragedy. Because it is the holiday season though The Caroler has a more uplifting and powerful conclusion."

Banks Brothers Productions employing its customary multi casting formula to give as many actors as possible a chance to perform, will feature many of Houston's under used talent in "The Caroler"

Filled with familiar Christmas Carols such as "The Little Drummer Boy" and "Go Tell it on the Mountain, colorful characters, and spirited dance numbers, The Caroler promises to be a treat for audience members .

The runs December 4-6. Show times are 8pm for Friday and Saturday performances and 3pm for the Sunday performance.

Tickets are $20 online available at www.banksbrothersproductions.com beginning in November and $25 at the door at Midtown Art Center 3414 La Branch Houston, Texas 77004.
