The three plays "The Church Fight", "Saving Grace" and "Sins of the Mother" have women a it's lead characters and have a universal appeal to them as the heroines in each play deal with racism, sexism, alcoholism, and the need to be heard.

Says Vincent Victoria, the director of each of the one acts, " As our company continues to grow and evolve we want to present works to our audience that have been seldom seen, forgotten, or unknown but still have resonance with an audience by the timelessness of the subject matter".

"The Church Fight" a short play written in 1925 by Ruth Gaines- Shelton was one of the first COMEDIES written by an African American female. "The Church Fight" chronicles a church trying to get rid of its pastor lead by a spirited well meaning busybody.

"Saving Grace" by local playwright Melanie E.Burke, won the 2014 Fade to Black Playwrighting competition and tells the story of a classically trained African American Actress dealing with stereotypes in Hollywood.

"Sins of the Mother" written by Dr.Tony Moronelli, tells the story of the devastating effects that alcohol has on a family of women in the 1950's. The show garnered standing ovations after each performance of its initial run here in March.
