The Alley Theatre's A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story of Christmas features a cast of 22 talented young actors from the Houston area who will perform the show in the newly renovated Hubbard Theatre. Many of the young cast members are continuing a family tradition of appearing in the production, and other young cast members are joining the show for the first time.
Siblings, children of current cast members and new young cast members will join the Alley's Company of Actors to tell the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge's journey with the three ghosts that visit him on Christmas Eve. The young cast members join us from various neighborhoods in the Houston metropolitan area including Pearland, Katy, Montrose, Spring Branch, and more. The group is divided into two teams - one called the "green team" and the other called the "red team" - that alternate performances.
Family audiences can enjoy this colorful, comical, and music-filled production. A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story of Christmas, adapted and originally directed by Michael Wilson, from the story by Charles Dickens, directed by Alley Associate Director James Black, begins previews Friday, November 20, opens Sunday, November 22 and runs through Thursday, December 28.

Ethan Cooper, 11 - Pearland
Ethan Cooper is in the 6th grade and has been a cast member for four years. Two of Ethan's siblings have also appeared in past productions of the show. His favorite part of A Christmas Carol is when Scrooge dances with the turkey and his holiday wish is snow in Houston.
Andre Couturier, 9 - Meyerland
Andre Couturier is in 4th grade, and this is his first year in A Christmas Carol. He is excited to learn about the special effects. His favorite part of the holiday season is his family's annual Christmakwanzakah party.
Hazel Britton Dansby, 9 - Montrose
Hazel Britton Dansby is in 4th grade, and returns for her second year in A Christmas Carol because she enjoys acting and had fun last year. Hazel is involved in hip-hop dance at her school her favorite parts of the show are the costumes and Secret Santa.
Hazel E. Egging, 7 - Midtown
Hazel Egging is in 2nd grade, and this is her second year in A Christmas Carol. Hazel loves holiday songs and her favorite part of the season is Christmas caroling and holiday spirit.
Alina Garcia, 10 - Fort Bend
Alina Garcia joins A Christmas Carol cast for the first time. She is in 5th grade and participates in orchestra and plays violin. Hazel enjoys the holiday seasons because she "really just loves the feeling of Christmas!"
Leo Gossett, 10 - Montrose
Leo Gossett plays Young Scrooge and Peter Cratchit and this is his first year in A Christmas Carol. If he could have one holiday wish, it would be to "have all the bugs and animals in the world."
Olivia Gutierrez, 8
Olivia is in 3rd grade, and this is her second year in A Christmas Carol. Olivia is in the singing club at her school and wanted to be part of the production because she "loves the Alley Theatre."
Mack Hutchison, 6 - Oak Forest
Mack Hutchison is in first grade, and this is his second year in A Christmas Carol. He joins his parents, Alley Company Artists Elizabeth Bunch and Chris Hutchison, on stage and plays Tiny Tim. He loves the apparition characters in the production. Mack also likes when its snows during the holiday season and has a holiday wish to teleport to Antarctica to hang out with the penguins.
Isabella Ingram, 9
Isabella Ingram plays Tiny Tim, Urchin and Little Boy Scrooge in A Christmas Carol and wanted to be a part of the production because she enjoys being a part of so many families' traditions. Her favorite scene is the dancing skeletons.
Anaya Judson, 11
Anaya Judson is in 6th grade and this is her first year participating in A Christmas Carol. She is involved in robotics, gardening, the news team and junior patrol at school. Her most cherished part of the holiday season is enjoying Christmas dinner with her family.
Louisa Mata, 10 - Midtown
Louisa Mata is in the 5th grade, and this is her second year in A Christmas Carol. She wanted to be a part of the show because she enjoys dressing up and meeting new people. She likes the scenes with Mr. Marvel.
Clare Martingano, 13 - Deer Park
Clare Martingano is in the 8th grade, and she participates in school theater and National Junior Honors Society. Her sister appeared in a previous show of A Christmas Carol and Clare is in her fourth year in the production. Her favorite part of the holiday season is performing in A Christmas Carol.
Artemis-Melania Postolos, 13 - River Oaks
Artemis Melania Postolos has participated in A Christmas Carol for five years, initially playing Tiny Tim. Her brother Lucas has participated in past productions and this year her younger sister Kyriaki appears on stage with her. Her favorite part of the show is when "Scrooge realizes he wants to change and becomes generous and kind to everyone!"
Kyriaki Postolos, 9 - River Oaks
Kyriaki Postolos joined the cast of A Christmas Carol when she was five and three family members have also appeared in the production. She loves how the cast and crew all are friends and feels like one big family. She says "Everyone comes over for Greek food and it's a blast!"
Tobias Rytting, 12 - Braes Heights/Bellaire
Tobias Rytting is in the 7th grade and this year will be his second year in the production. He is involved in orchestra and choir in school and also the Houston Ballet Academy. His favorite part of the holiday season is getting the whole family together.
Lexie Smyk, 9 - Katy
Lexie Smyk is in 4th grade and plays the School Boy/Urchin in her first year in A Christmas Carol. Lexie loves to act and her favorite part of the holiday season is doing holiday themed crafts with her family.
Eliza Sommers, 11 - Woodland Heights
Eliza Sommers is in 6th grade and this is her second year in A Christmas Carol. Eliza loves the Alley Theatre community and the chance to perform with professional actors in front of a large audience. Her favorite part of the holiday season is the snow, even though it doesn't snow in Houston!
Elena Vazquez, 11 - Friendswood
Elena Vazquez is in the 6th grade, and this her third year in A Christmas Carol. Her school activities include art, singing, dancing, acting and karate. She wanted to be a part of the production because it is a good experience, and she looks forward to seeing her friends at the Alley Theatre.

Gabe White is in the 8th grade, and this is his third year in A Christmas Carol. He wanted to be in A
Christmas Carol because he "he enjoys the authenticity of being an actor." He likes the artistic outlet that
acting provides."
Eden White, 7 - Spring Branch/Memorial
Eden White joins brother Gabe and twin brother Luke in her first performance in A Christmas Carol. Eden's favorite part of the show is riding in the cider cart with glitter falling everywhere. She is involved in soccer, basketball, Brownies, chapel, choir and science.
