A.D. Players to Present Children's Theater Musical THUMBELINA, 1/15-2/2

Thumbelina, a new musical, with Book and Lyrics by Will Ledesma, Music by Braden Hunt and Adapted from the story by Hans Christian Anderson, will run Jan. 15 - Feb. 2 (Opens Jan. 16) at A.D. Players.

The World Premiere of an imaginative new musical adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tale about a girl no bigger than her mother's thumb. When Thumbelina is kidnapped by a frog, she is thrust into a world full of fantastic creatures where she doesn't fit in. After being rescued by a field mouse who wants her to marry their neighbor, Mole, Thumbelina must find the strength inside to find her own unique place in the world.

Performances are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 10:30am with a 1:00pm performance on 1/26. Thumbelina previews on January 15 at 7:00pm.

Tickets are $10 for individuals, $6 for groups of 10 or more, and $5 for Title 1 schools. Tickets may be purchased online at www.adplayers.org, at the A. D. Players Box Office, 2710 W.
