A. D. Players announced today that John, His Story will open April 9 and run through April 19, 2014 on their Grace Theater stage. Performed Off-Broadway in 1997, around the country, and regularly at A. D. Players, John, His Story brings to life the seven great miracles performed by Jesus in The Gospel of John as seen through the eyes of ordinary people.

"This particular script is as old as truth itself, but the telling of it invites contemporary considerations," reflects Jeannette Clift George, Director, Founder and Artistic Director of A. D. Players.

Jeannette Clift George's play is an A. D. Players' signature piece that continues to shine a light in the darkness. John, His Story brings humor and fresh understanding to such miracles as turning water into wine, feeding the 5,000, and raising Lazarus from the dead.

"This is the play that offers an outstanding current cast the opportunity of bringing John's story to you," says Jeannette Clift George.

The cast of John, His Story includes A. D. Players' resident actors Patty Bailey, Kurt Bilanoski, Kelsey Cratty and Stephen Hurst.

The production features scenic and lighting design by Mark A. Lewis, properties design by Trisha Wise, and costume design by Patty Tuel Bailey. Directors are Jeannette Clift George and Kevin Dean.
