A. D. Players announces that the World Premiere of A Cardboard Christmas will open November 25 and run through December 23, 2014 on their Grace Theater stage, as the third show for the 2014-2015 season. Experience the magic of Christmas through stories of the origins of many beloved songs and carols. Meet a resilient mother and her talented son for whom this Christmas season means many surprises, including a mysterious stranger who brings with him an even more mysterious gift.

The cast of A Cardboard Christmas includes A. D. Players' resident actors Kurt Bilanoski, Craig Griffin, Braden Hunt, Stephen Hurst, and Christy Watkins as well as Guest Artists: Eli Go, Stephanie Bradow Hunt, Eliana Schmidt, and Zoey Watkins.

The production team features scenic design by Robin Gillock, lighting design by Mark A. Lewis, properties design by Trisha Wise, costume design by Donna Southern Schmidt, and sound design by Orlando Arriaga. Directed by Kevin Dean and assistant directed by Chip Simmons.

A Cardboard Christmas runs November 25 - December 23, 2014. Performances are Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:30pm. There will be one Wednesday matinee on December 17th, 2014 at 2:30pm and two Saturday matinees December 13th and December 20th at 2:30pm. There will be no performance, Thanksgiving day, Thursday, November 27th. *Preview performances are Tuesday, November 25th and Wednesday, November 26th at 7:30pm.* A. D. TALKBACKS: Following each Thursday performance, the audience is invited to stay and visit with the cast and creative team about the play.
