9 to 5: The Musical will be presented by the Pearland Theatre Guild, March 22-April 7, 2013, at the Pearl Theater.

Based on the 20th Century Fox movie, 9 to 5: The Musical follows three unlikely friends in the late 1970s; Violet Newstead, an uptight office manager; Judy Bernly, a recent divorcée; and Doralee Rhodes, a sexy married secretary, as they turn the tables on their "sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical, bigot" of a boss, Franklin Hart, Jr.

"It's more than just three woman moving up in the working world - it's about how they motivate each other and identify with their struggles and successes!," said 9 to 5 director/choreographer Nathan C. Hand. "Dolly Parton's score is irresistible, the choreography is worthy of Broadway, and our cast is a group of strong performers and solid singers! Don't miss this production!"
