Registration Now Open For HTY Summer Programs And Introducing T.A.Co.

Registration is open for Honolulu Theatre for Youth's summer drama programs and this year it is bigger and better than ever! In addition to the popular Summer Drama Adventure for kids ages 7-9 and The 'Tween Scene for youth ages 10-12, there is now T.A.Co., the summer Teen Acting Company for teens age 12 and up. IMAGINE beautiful stories. CREATE amazing plays. PERFORM for family and friends. Be the actor you want to be in a dramatic summer with HTY, a professional theatre experience.

All three programs run June 4 - June 29, 2018, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 12:30pm and are held at Tenney Theatre, on the grounds of the Cathedral of St. Andrew. Ever wondered what happens after a story ends? Where do the characters go? What might be their next adventure? Does everyone truly live 'happily ever after?' This summer YOU get to decide! YOU will be the story continuers! Join 'Tween Scene as we will jump into your favorite tales for an exciting adventure and imagine what happens 'After the End.'

Your 'Write' to 'Play!'

HTY announces an exciting new program, the Summer Teen Acting Company! This is an opportunity for young actors to build their skills in play writing and performing. Whether you have performed before or are new to the stage, this program will encourage and challenge you to break out of your artistic box, take creative risks and make bold choices. Join theSummer Teen Acting Company where our motto is, 'It's Your 'Write' to Play!' You will surprise yourself!
