“The Mousetrap” features the best of Maui talent including Jennifer Rose and Chris Rose as Mollie and Giles Ralston, the owners of the guest house; Dylan Bode as the quirky Christopher Wren; Mark Collmer as the mysterious Mr. Paravicini; Felicia Chernicki as the hard-edged Miss Casewell; Rose Roselinsky as the complaining Mrs. Boyle; Dale Button as the stodgy Major Metcalf; and Frances Tau'a as Detective Sergeant Trotter, sent to investigate the murder.
Written by the #1 mystery writer of her time, Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” boasts an ingenious plot which engages the audience from start to satisfying finish. A group of strangers is stranded (of course) during a snow storm at Monkswell Manor, a guest house outside of London in 1952. One or more of these strangers (of course) is a murderer. Superb intrigue and laughter leads to a surprise twist ending (of course). “The Mousetrap” is the longest running show ever. It is still playing in the West End of London after 60 years.
