Kumu Kahua Theatre to Announce Season at Kaka'ako Agora

Once again, Kumu Kahua Theatre will partner with Interisland Terminal and publically announce its upcoming season at Kaka'ako Agora.

This evening will begin at 5:30 with mingling and drinks. At 6:00PM Kumu Kahua Theatre Artistic Director, Harry Wong III, will announce the season. The new season will be toasted and following the announcement, Kumu Kahua Theatre actors will present a table reading of the first show of the new season, Joker by Yilong Liu.

SHOW DESCRIPTION

Joe's normal simple life unravels as a promise kept is threatened by a visit of a man from his past. Love, secrets and betrayal abound in this realistic look into lives touched by fear of exposing one man's love for another.

PARKING
Metered street parking along Cooke Street and in the neighborhood M-F 8:00am -3:30pm, free after 6pm.

SEATING
Seating is limited and will be handled on a first-come-first-served basis; lawn chairs are allowed.

Kaka'ako Agora is a park designed for 21st Century Honolulu. It is the first project of it's kind in Honolulu, designed by internationally renowned architecture studio Atelier Bow-WowAn to create a dynamic space for our local community and an architectural intervention, where forward thinking, collaborative design results in a much needed, open and accessible community gathering space.

Interisland Terminal is a Honolulu-based non-profit arts collaborative.
