?Kumu Kahua Theatre held its annual volunteer appreciation party this past Sunday, at the theatre, thrown by its Board of Directors. In addition to great food, fellowship, and door prizes, volunteers were the first to hear the lineup for next season's shows.
Board President, Mark Kalehele and Artistic Director Harry Wong thanked the crowd of volunteers for their contribution to the important work Kumu Kahua Theatre does: giving scripts a chance to be staged. Volunteers at the theatre include: ushers, actors, technicians, builders, and even those who assist in the office work.
Managing Director, Donna Blanchard then read the list of shows in the 43rd season, with playwrights, performance and audition dates, while Mark Kalahele displayed each show's logo, created by graphic artist, Ryan Higa.
