The Hawaii Theatre Center, as part of the Bank of Hawaii OHANA! Series, presents William Shakespeare's MACBETH tonight April 27th at 7 p.m. and tomorrow April 28th at 2 p.m.
This year’s troupe of high school actors from across O'ahu take on the challenge of Shakespeare’s darkest play. Spurred on by ambiguous promises from a trio of witches, Lord and Lady Macbeth push each other to murderous lengths to advance their vaulting ambition. In the end, they pay dearly for their crimes. Musicians in HTYAE will create an original rock soundscape for the production.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for HTC Members, Seniors (62+), Youth (4-17), Military & Students [with valid ID], and can be purchased here.
