Join the Hawai'i Symphony Orchestra (HSO) for a rockin' fall concert as the orchestra partners with Windorne Music's tribute - The Music of Queen. Bridging the gap between classical music and rock, conductor Brent Havens will bring audiences to their feet at this extraordinary concert. Brody Dolyniuk's vocals capture the spirit of the music and of Freddie Mercury's one-of-a-kind delivery. It is obvious that Brody has done his homework and approaches the vocals with respect and skill.
"We will ROCK YOU!" HSO Executive Director Jonathan Parrish said, adding that the HSO is continuing to expand its audience to include fans of Classic Rock. "Music is so universal, and so widely enjoyed, it just makes sense for us to bring our considerable forces and talent to bear on as many genres as possible. We're very excited to be kicking off the musicthatROCKS series with the music of such a great band with so many great hits."
Brent Havens is a Berklee-trained arranger/conductor who has written music for orchestras, feature films and virtually every kind of television.
