Greek National Opera Will Stream Concert Featuring EPITAPHIOS and DIONYSOS Today

Today at 5pm, the Greek National Opera will present a concert with two important works by the great Mikis Theodorakis, Epitaphios (1958) and Dionysos (1985), produced by the Alternative Scene of the National Opera.

The concert will be broadcast by #ERT2. The television broadcast of these works gives the public the unique opportunity to enjoy two political works of religious form of the top Greek composer rarely presented live.

The concert was filmed in October 2020 at the ElS Alternative Stage at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, without the physical presence of an audience, due to the measures to prevent the spread of the virus.

The television broadcast of the concert will lead the radio broadcast of Mikis Theodorakis's Epitaphios project at M. Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at 20.00. p.m. Kostas Thomaidis.
