The winner of the prestigious 2024 Culture Award in Auburn, Placer Community Theater (PCT) continues to struggle to raise funds, after it survived a near shut down in 2023. Helped by a strong new board of directors, the 22-year old theatre, powered by passionate volunteers, produces award-winning plays that captivate and inspire the community, enriching the area’s cultural, educational and economic life, far from the hustle and bustle of big cities.
