Three to One (UA) at Nationaltheater Mannheim

This year marks the 10th anniversary season of Ballet Mannheim, under the directorship of Kevin O’Day and his associate Dominique Dumais. In this premiere Mr. O’Day gives the evening over to three long time colleagues. The choreographers Robert Glumbek, Brian McNeal and Luis Eduardo Sayago come from different cultural and artistic backgrounds, but they have one thing in common: They all are or once were dancers at the Nationaltheater Mannheim. Under the theme Three to One they create three new dynamic choreographies for Mannheim.

Long time collaborator Jürgen Kirner will design the set and costumes for this eclectic evening of dance. Based in Berlin Mr. Kirner has already created the stage design for several of Kevin O’Day’s productions.
