Katie is a teenager in Luton, England. In a rapid monologue, she tells of a seemingly normal afternoon, which becomes an unforgettable adventure, as her boyfriend Abe turns into a fight.
While Katie accounted for the events, she constantly discussed their own stream of consciousness, reflected on her black boyfriend Abe himself and their relationship and their family, their future and that she constantly thinks about all of this... This presents its own small legal system of monitoring and penalties, which manifests itself in actions which should punish others in Katie's environment the Viewer, undetected but even as performers. At the end, it faces a decision: it should according to this system continues to process and committing a betrayal?
The British playwright Jack Thorne writes for radio, theater, and film. At the Edinburgh Festival 2010 he received for Bunny the fringe first award.
The premiere is the third in a series of five German premieres of American and British authors of the season 2011/2012 under the motto: the axis of good: new American and British drama.
