George and Charlotte Hay are has-been theatre actors from the 1950s. Charlotte dreams of becoming a film star, while George is satisfied with life as a stage actor. Struggling to perform Cyrano de Bergerac and Private Lives in rep while on the brink of splitting up due to George's infidelity, they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom. Unfortunately, everything that could go wrong does go wrong in this side-splitting farce, resulting in non-stop hilarity.
