TheatreZone, a professional Equity theatre in Naples, FL, updated its website this summer and launched it at a new web address. The new site at www.theatre.zone has information about the organization's Broadway musicals, international concert acts, AllStars of TheatreZone signature fundraiser, and new Broadway & Happy Hour cabaret series.
"The new web address is much shorter and easier to remember," says Mark Danni, Founding Artistic Director. "The .zone extension encourages people to 'Get Into The Zone' by buying tickets to TheatreZone."
Naples artist Tim Kling designed the bright and colorful layout.
"The individual pages have less information than before," Danni explains, "so the pages load faster and it's easier for patrons to find what they need. With so many people buying tickets on mobile phones and electronic devices, we needed to create a very mobile responsive website."
TheatreZone's upcoming 14th season, which begins Oct. 11, includes Urinetown, Home for the Holidays, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, and And the World Goes 'Round.
The concert acts performing in February are The Mersey Beatles on an Abbey Road 50th Anniversary Tour and An Evening with Judy Collins.
A new afternoon cabaret series, Broadway & Happy Hour, launches in January "outside the Zone" at the Moorings Park auditorium. It features wine, Champagne, Prosecco and hors d'oeuvres.
TheatreZone's signature event on Jan. 25, AllStars of TheatreZone, will be a one-night-only extravaganza featuring fan favorites and a live orchestra. They join multi-Tony award winner Rupert Holmes, the Special Guest Star, who is donating his time and voice in support of TheatreZone. Holmes was the composer and playwright for the Tony Award-winner The Mystery of Edwin Drood, but may be best known for Escape/The Pina Colada Song.
Tickets are available now for all shows and events at www.theatre.zone or by calling the TheatreZone Box Office at 888-966-3352 x1.
