TheatreZone artistic director Mark Danni announced today that Ohio native Leigh Straub has joined the not-for-profit Equity theatre organization's Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Ms. Straub brings more than 25 years sales and marketing experience in the health care industry to TheatreZone. Throughout her professional career, Ms. Straub has authored numerous health care articles for regional trade publications. She is a licensed real estate agent and currently the owner of independent online publisher Manifest Press. Ms. Straub is a graduate of Ohio State University with Master's Degree in Journalism. She and her family relocated to Naples in 1997.
"Leigh's expertise in business and communications are a tremendous asset to the continued growth of TheatreZone," says Danni. "She's been known to moonlight as a quasi-stage manager, so she knows her way around the theatre."

TheatreZone's Season 8 opens Thursday, Nov. 22 at 8 pm with the comedic gem A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Nov. 29 – Dec. 9, 2012) and continues with Grand Hotel – The Musical (Jan.10 - 20, 2013), Next to Normal (March 7 - 17, 2013) and concludes with 110 in the Shade (May 2- 12, 2013).
Season 8 subscriber series (four shows) are still available. A semi season series (3 shows) costs $144 while individual seats costs $43 - $48 plus a $2 per ticket fee. Discounted group rates (more than 10) are also available.
