Do you like analyzing a play with fellow audience members? Would you like to hear about the director's vision and the actors' motivation for their characters? Are you interested in hearing from expert guest speakers? If you answered yes, then TheatreZone's Next to Normal talkback on March 10th and opening reception on March 3rd is for you!

"A talkback is a post-show discussion where the audience can ask any questions about the show or artistic process and gain more of an insight into a play's themes," explains TheatreZone artistic director Mark Danni.

Danni today announced TheatreZone is teaming with the David Lawrence Center, a Naples, FL based not-for-profit mental health and substance abuse treatment center, in a talkback immediately following the Sunday, March 10th matinee performance of the Pulitzer Prize winning musical. The 4:30 pm talkback will bring together esteemed adult psychiatrist Scott Haltzman, M.D. and the cast of Next to Normal to talk about families living with mental illness, bipolar disorder, and discussing the ideas, themes, and performances of the play.

Dr. Haltzman is a board certified adult and geriatric psychiatrist working in the David Lawrence Center Adult Outpatient Services Department. He earned his bachelor's degree in Biology and English from Brown University and his medical degree from Brown University Medical School. He completed his residency in psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine and the Yale-New Haven Hospital Psychiatric Outpatient Department where he was the Chief Resident.

Performances are March 7, 8, 9, and 14, 15, 16 at 8 pm and Sundays, March 10 and 17 at 2 pm and 7:30 pm. Tickets are $43 and $48 plus a $2 ticket fee by calling (888) 966-3352, online at www.theatrezone-florida.com or visit the on-site box office open Wednesdays 10 am until 12 pm.
