Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce an extension for the romantic wedding day comedy, One Slight Hitch, by comedian, Lewis Black, currently playing in the Historic Arcade Theatre. Due to increased demand for tickets, the play will now run through Saturday, January 31, 2015.
Producing Artistic Director, Robert Cacioppo, said: "Due to popular demand, we've decided to hold the production over for three more performances. It really is a great, new, laugh-out-loud, romantic comedy, and it's really been resonating with our audiences. It has a beautiful message, a lot of heart, and is very well acted. Don't miss out."
The best availability is for the three added 8pm performances on January 29, 30, and 31, and Florida Rep urges patrons to call the box office or visit the website sooner rather than later to secure their seats. The 393-seat Historic Arcade Theatre has been playing to nearly full houses since the play opened earlier this month, and is near capacity through Sunday, January 25th. "There are seats available between now and the 25th," Cacioppo said, "but not many."Lewis Black's One Slight Hitch plays at Florida Rep through January 31 in the Historic Arcade Theatre. Regular performances are Tues. -- Sat. at 8pm, with matinees on Wed. and Sun. at 2pm.Videos
