Broadway Palm's 23rd Season to Feature FUNNY GIRL, SISTER ACT & More

Broadway Palm has announced its 23rd Season which includes eight main stage productions, five productions in The Off Broadway Palm, four Children's Theatre productions, and six concerts. Individual tickets go on sale June 1, 2015.

Broadway Palm's main stage opens on August 27, 2015 and runs through August 16, 2016. Show prices range from $39 to $62 with group and children's prices available. Performances are Tuesday through Sunday evenings (no Tuesday evening performances May through October) with selected matinees. The main stage productions include:

Some Enchanted Evening (August 27, 2015 - September 26, 2015)

Rediscover the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein in this delightful musical revue that takes the audience on a romantic and nostalgic journey through some of the greatest Broadway hits of all time such as Oklahoma, Carousel, The Sound of Music, South Pacific, State Fair, The King and I, and many, many more.

Million Dollar Quartet (October 1, 2015 - November 21, 2015)

This thrilling musical brings you inside the recording studio with rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins who came together as a red-hot rock 'n' roll band for one unforgettable night! You'll hear Blue Suede Shoes, Fever, Who Do You Love?, Great Balls of Fire, Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On, Folsom Prison Blues and more!

A Wonderful Life (November 26, 2015 - December 26, 2015)

Frank Capra's classic holiday film is brought to vibrant theatrical life in an uplifting musical that is perfect for the entire family. The story of George Bailey and his wonderful life remains a timeless tale of dreams, cynicism and the power of love that exhilarates the mind and heart and celebrates the kindness in us all.

Show Boat (December 30, 2015 - February 14, 2016)

Come aboard for an original Broadway masterpiece that combines unforgettable songs, dazzling choreography, and a story that moves us with its humanity. Set in 1890 to 1927, the production follows a troupe of Mississippi riverboat performers, while illuminating the racial and social changes that were shaping the country. The timeless score includes Ol' Man River, Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man and Make Believe.

Sister Act (February 18, 2016 - April 2, 2016)

A disco diva witnesses a crime and the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look...a convent! Masquerading as a nun, she breathes new life into the church, but in the process, blows her cover. This high-spirited musical comedy based on the hit film of the same title is a shining tribute to the universal power of friendship.

Funny Girl (April 7, 2016 - May 14, 2016)

The musical based on the life of Fanny Brice, from her start in a Brooklyn music hall to her impressive rise to stardom with the Ziegfeld Follies. This irresistible musical comedy is filled with drama, heartbreaking romance and unforgettable songs such as Don't Rain On My Parade, I'm the Greatest Star, The Music That Makes Me Dance and the Barbara Streisand hit, People.

Menopause The Musical (May 19, 2016 - July 2, 2016)

Four women at a lingerie sale have nothing in common except a black lace bra...AND memory loss, hot flashes, night sweats, not enough sex, too much sex and more. The Hilarious Celebration of Women and The Change is set to classic tunes from the 60's, 70's and 80's that will have you laughing and dancing in the aisles.

The Wizard of Oz (July 7, 2016 - August 13, 2016)

Follow the yellow brick road as America's most beloved movie, The Wizard of Oz, comes to life on stage with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion and Toto too! Songs from the delightful score you know and love include Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Follow The Yellow Brick Road and We're Off To See The Wizard.

The Off Broadway Palm Theatre is Broadway Palm's second performance venue. The Off Broadway Palm's 19th Season begins September 24, 2015 and runs through July 30, 2016. Ticket prices range from $33 to $53. Performances are Tuesday through Sunday evenings (no Tuesday evening performances May through October) with selected matinees. Second Chances: the Thrift Shop Musical (September 24, 2015 - November 7, 2015)

This touching musical comedy takes you on a journey through a hilarious year of operation at the Palm Coast Community Church Thrift Shop. Throughout the year, you'll find it's not just old treasures at the shop that are getting second chances.

Plaid Tidings (November 12, 2015 - December 26, 2015)

The boys of Forever Plaid are back and all packaged up with a big plaid bow on top! Frankie, Sparky, Jinx and Smudge have returned to Earth to bring some holiday cheer and harmony. You'll hear hits from the '50s and '60s along with traditional holiday songs you know and love such as Let It Snow, Jingle Bells and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.

Unnecessary Farce (January 14, 2016 - March 5, 2016)

An embezzling mayor is set to meet his accountant in a motel room. Little does he know that two undercover cops have set up a sting and are in the room next door hoping to catch the meeting on video. But there's a lot of confusion as to who is in what room, who is being videotaped, who has hired a hit man and why does the accountant keep taking off her clothes?

Who's Under Where? (March 10, 2016 - April 30, 2016)

Two women have planned a private fashion show in a fancy hotel to convince a world famous designer to buy their Passion Fashion Wear lingerie. When their jealous husbands arrive unexpectedly, the men jump to wrong conclusions and try to sabotage the show!

Don't Dress For Dinner (June 16, 2016 - July 30, 2016)

When Bernard's wife decides to visit her mother for a few days, he makes plans to spend a romantic weekend with his new mistress. He invites his friend Robert as an alibi, but when his wife finds out Robert will be in town, she changes her plans for a surprise tryst of her own!

Broadway Palm Children's Theatre shows are fun for everyone! The chef's buffet includes children's favorites such as pizza, chicken nuggets, pasta, french fries and more. Tickets are just $19 for all ages. Performances are matinees with lunch beginning at Noon and show beginning at 1 p.m. and during the school year there are early matinees* with lunch beginning at 10:30 a.m. and show beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Fancy Nancy The Musical

(October 22*, 23*, 24, 27, 28*, 30* and November 5*, 6*, 10*, 13*, 15, 17*, 20*, 2015)

Nancy and her friends are excited to be in their school recital, until Nancy gets cast as a boring tree. She soon discovers that being fancy comes in many forms and all it takes is a dash of imagination!

Based on the Disney animated film, this fun-filled musical is a fur-raising adventure featuring Cruella De Vil and 101 of the most adorable heroes to set their paws on our stage!

Broadway Palm's 11th Annual Concert Series will feature six concerts. All evening concerts begin with dinner at 5:30 p.m. and concert at 7:30 p.m. All Sunday twilight concerts begin with dinner at 5:30 p.m. and concert at 7 p.m. The matinee concerts begin with lunch at 11:45 a.m. and concert at 1:15 p.m. All concert tickets are $62 for dinner and the show or $39 for the show only.
