Broadway Palm is set to take you on a journey through the middle years as it presents Mid-Life! The Crisis Musical playing May 29 through June 21, 2014. The book, music and lyrics are by theatre veterans, turned playwrights, Bob and Jim Walton. The hysterical musical comedy pokes fun at the complicated, yet inevitable, subject of aging.
Mid-Life! The Crisis Musical tackles the whirlwind aging process and all of the mood swings, proctology exams and hot flashes that come with it! No matter age or gender, everyone will enjoy laughing along with this hilarious cast of three men and three women who will be singing and dancing their way through their very own mid-life crisis. The hilarious songs cover reading glasses, going bald, acid reflux, double chins and more!
Artistic Director for The Off Broadway Palm Theatre, Paul Bernier, will serve as the director for the production while Amy Marie McCleary will be choreographing. Starring in the show are six Broadway Palm veterans; Erin Fish, Jennie Hollander, Victor Legarreta, Autumn O'Ryan, Peter Riopelle, and Robert Summers. Mid-Life! The Crisis Musical played at The Off Broadway Palm Theatre in 2007 to sell-out crowds and rave reviews and the theatre is expecting the same results this time around.
Broadway Palm has the prescription for a few more laugh-lines with Mid-Life! The Crisis Musical playing May 29 through June 21, 2014. Performances are Wednesday through Sunday evenings with selected matinees. The theatre features an upscale dinner theatre experience on Saturday nights.
