Barbra Streisand made the title song famous, and TheatreZone's version of the Broadway musical On A Clear Day You Can See Forever will make audiences fall in love with the whole score. The professional Equity theatre presents the musical March 7 through 17 at the G&L Theatre on the Community School of Naples campus, 13275 Livingston Road in Naples.
The show will be directed by TheatreZone Artistic Director Mark Danni. "We pride ourselves on the caliber of our professional casts and musicians," said Danni. "To have three veterans of Broadway affiliated with this production means audiences will be treated to incredible voices, magical stage presence and exceptional musicianship."

The story written by Alan Jay Lerner (My Fair Lady, Camelot, Brigadoon) centers around Daisy Gamble has some unusual powers - like hearing phones before they ring and making flowers grow just by talking to them. However, she thinks she's just a normal person. In fact, her primary concern is trying to quit smoking in order to please her fiancé.
To accomplish this goal, she seeks the help of a hypnotist, Mark Bruckner. During their sessions, Mark discovers that she can regress into past lives and different personalities. Mark ends up falling in love with one of Daisy's personalities, "Melinda." In the end, Daisy finally realizes how special she really is.
TheatreZone's cast includes Broadway veterans Larry Alexander, who was Marius in Les Miserables, and Kristin Carbone, who appeared in Beauty and the Beast, Showboat, Into the Woods, Fiddler on the Roof, Mary Poppins, and Cinderella.
The band will be under the direction of Keith Thompson. His most recent list of professional credits include musical director and conductor for the Las Vegas companies of Jersey Boys, The Producers, Hairspray, and for the North American premier of the hit musical, We Will Rock You.
As conductor and musical director for the first national tours of Mamma Mia! and Cabaret, Thompson directed stars such as Teri Hatcher, Lea Thompson, and Tony Award-winner Norbert Leo Butz in lead roles. He also supervised the music for the Australian production of Cabaret in Sydney and won the 2000 Dora Award as musical director of Cabaret in Toronto. Other national tours Thompson has conducted include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Donny Osmond; Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby; Jesus Christ Superstar with Carl Anderson and Ted Neeley; and the 25th Anniversary tour of the musical HAIR! as well as concert tours for Sarah Brightman and Jenifer Lewis. In addition, his New York credits include Les Miserables, When Pigs Fly, and Little Shop of Horrors.
Thompson was vocal director and arranger for RoundHouse, a television series aired on the Nickelodeon Network. Thompson was also Adjunct Professor in the Musical Theater program at NYU where he conducted, arranged and supervised music for dozens of shows.
Thompson is founder and host of The Composers Showcase, a popular monthly production that features all original music in the Cabaret Jazz Showroom at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas. He recently completed a year-long run as producer/director of the successful revue, "The Cocktail Cabaret" at Cleopatra's Barge in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
