Allegro at St James Theatre

The RNZB presents Allegro - a powerhouse of five dynamic ballets from leading international choreographers. Produced in the style of 2012 smash hit season NYC, this exciting season will be a must-see for all lovers of dance.

Les Lutins (‘The Goblins’)
Flirty and fun, two male dancers compete for the attention of a single female in Johan Kobborg’s new piece. Things are not what they seem following the addition of a violinist and pianist to the stage.

Satellites
This new piece by Daniel Belton will include electronic music, animation and kinetic sculpture integrated with the dance.

Mattress Suite
Created in 2003 by choreographer Larry Keigwin, Mattress Suite is made up of six scenes about love affairs, either on or near a mattress.

Megalopolis
Choreographer Larry Keigwin fuses Broadway, club culture and the worlds of fashion and burlesque.
