Leading cultural tourism start-up Theatre in Paris will be a partner to the organizer at the TEDxIHEParis event on 21 May at the Théâtre de la Madeleine, both companies announced. Tapping into one of its fields of key expertise, the surtitling of French text into other languages, Theatre in Paris provides the English translation of French content presented at the conference. Specialised in making theatre plays and musicals accessible to an international audience through surtitling solutions (which include for instance Augmented Reality glasses), the company will feature its offer and range of services at a stand at the accompanying forum.

The talk surtitled by Theatre in Paris will be held by André Brugiroux. Under the title "Is Peace Possible", the author shares his hope for humanity. The 78 year old Frenchman, named the "Greatest Living Traveller on Earth" in a 2007 peer list, is an inspiring motivational speaker who holds the rare distinction of having visited every country and territory in the world.

"The Theatre in Paris team is thrilled to be participating at the 2016 edition of TEDxIHEParis. This year's theme "Beyond Our Limits" resonates particularly well with our own objectives here at Theatre in Paris: help international visitors overcome barriers, in this case of a foreign language, allowing them to discover the richness of French performing arts. The dialogue of cultures is not only a necessity, it is above all an exceptional opportunity," Carl de Poncins, President of Theatre in Paris, states.

Sabri Ben Radhia, Founder and Curator of TEDxIHEParis adds, "TEDxIHEParis translates perfectly its theme "Going beyond our Limits" as it's organized by a group of volunteers coming from 20 nationalities, different cultures and religions and are aged between 19 and 50 years old. All of them passionately believe in the power of the idea and have built this event to inspire and bring a positive change to the Parisian community."

Among the prestigious lineup of speakers at this year's conference are Jackelyn Quinones ("Is Technology Killing Empathy?"), Jothy Rosenberg ("Who Says I Can't"?) and Anna Katrina Davey ("Cultural Competence As A Paradigm For Peace"). Fellow partners include The British Council, RATP, Yelp and L'Institut des Hautes Etudes de Paris.
