For its scheduled return to Paris from 3 June to 3 July 2016, the musical RESISTE is joining forces with start-up company THEATRE IN PARIS to allow visitors from all over the world to enjoy the show with English surtitles.

International visitors can watch the most successful musical of the season thanks to the projection of the English translation of the songs and French dialogues directly above the stage and in perfect synchronisation with the artists.

This service is offered every Saturday during the matinée and evening shows which will take place at the Palais des Sports, one of the largest concert halls of the French capital. Both the projection of the surtitles and the English-language welcome will be handled by the THEATRE IN PARIS team.

Alongside the French audience, English-speaking patrons will have the opportunity to discover the first musical dedicated to the work of Michel Berger and France Gall, two of the most famous French singers/songwriters of these past decades. Inspired by Mamma Mia!, the musical based on the success of the Swedish pop group ABBA, RESISTE is a unique two-hour firework of humour and dance in a moving tribute to Michel Berger.

Carl de Poncins, president of THEATRE IN PARIS:

"Surtitling RESISTE is a particularly exciting project for THEATRE IN PARIS because this is the one French musical not to be missed this year. It really matters to us that non-French speakers can also enjoy this experience without the language barrier."

The seats permitting viewing of the surtitles and access to the English-language welcome service are available to the foreign audience (tourists and expats) as well as tourism professionals (international tour operators, incoming travel agencies, events management agencies etc.) directly through by THEATRE IN PARIS.
