Audiovisual Catalog to be Created for 'Comedie-Francaise'

Under the auspices of Frederic Mitterrand, minister of Culture and Communication,
Comedie 'Ina the French-and Comedy renew their agreement for the creation a catalog of audiovisual "Comedy-French." 

Muriel Mayette, Deputy Head of the Comedie-French and Mathieu Gallet, President  Director General of the National Audiovisual Institute wished to renew and extend the  Protocol sealing the partnership between their two institutions since April 3, 2002.

With around 10,000 audio and video materials (sound recordings, interviews Comedie
actors, recordings of plays ...) this catalog French Comedie was restored, allowing wider dissemination of this single fund. Through this association and this work  Comedie
common, Ina and French Comedie thus offer a theatrical audiovisual heritage accessible to the greatest number.

This agreement has enabled you to edit in DVD fifty works from the repertoire the troupe, including a cabinet Molière.

With this original and innovative initiative, Ina and the Comedie French have decided to renew this agreement to provide:
- Catalog enrichment Ina / Comedy-French by new categories of works
exploitable
- New requirements for marketing and exploitation of works of the Catalogue
Ina / French Comedie including new media and communication media.

The INA and the French Comedie welcome to adopt, there are nearly 10 years, this initiative without previous offering memory over time on shows, the creators and their immediate
over 60 years.

The Comedie-French and his troupe from the early technical "audiovisual" have participated in
Comedie many adventures related to the creation of works for film, radio, television, sound editing ...

Ina collects and stores images on which our collective memory. He authenticates; gives them
Ina meaning and share them with the greatest number through collections and knowledge.

World leader in digital archiving and recovery of audiovisual collections, Ina became a  benchmark for technological innovation in particular in these two areas.
