Storytelling Arts of Indiana is kicking off its 36th season with a sibling duo of “Cowboy Poets,” who will bring a taste of Big Sky Country to Indianapolis for a dynamic evening of music and stories. Brigid & Johnny Reedy will take audiences on a ride to “My Montana Home” on Saturday, September 23, at Eugene & Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center. 

 DOWNTOWN OLLY’S is located at 822 N. Illinois St, in Indianapolis, IN, and has been serving Central Indiana’s LGBTQ+ communities for over 20 years. As the winner of the 2022 Bar & Restaurant Expo’s Industry Excellence Awards, LGBTQ Venue of the Year, Downtown Olly’s continues their focus as a safe place for people to be their most authentic selves.

To celebrate the release of A Collective Cy, the Feinstein's concert will feature highlights from Coleman's legendary musicals Sweet Charity (“My Personal Property,” “If My Friends Could See Me Now”), Seesaw (“My City,“ “I'm Way Ahead”), and City of Angels (“With Every Breath I Take”), plus little-known songs like “So Little Time” (cut from Barnum).

Ryan Ahlwardt is an Emmy-nominated host of central Indiana’s most watched lifestyle show - Indy Now - on FOX 59. He is a singer, songwriter, arranger and alumnus of the world-renowned ten-man acapella singing group Straight No Chaser. He has shared the stage and studio with such artists as The Beach Boys, Barry Manilow, Shania Twain, Sara Bareilles, Jon McLaughlin, Take 6 and more.

The Indiana Artisan Gallery in Carmel will host the Carmel International Art Festival Student Art Show again for 2023. The Student Art Show will take place on Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24.  The Gallery will be donating half of their space to display over eighty art entries from Carmel and University High School students.

COME FROM AWAY comes to the Fort Wayne Embassy Theatre later this year. The performance is set for October 25, 2023.

Carmel Jazz Fest organizers continue to add big names and fresh sounds to the already explosive lineup of music for the inaugural event August 11-12. The festival will feature more than 30 electrifying national and international acts, including Spyro Gyra (festival headliner), Evelyn “Champagne” King, Dave Bennett Quartet, Freddie Fox and Tim Cunningham.

On July 6th, the Indiana Arts Commission awarded Buck Creek Players an Arts Organization Support grant for $8,764 as part of the $3,431,351 awarded to Indiana nonprofits to fund arts projects and organizations around the state.
