Kokomo Curtain Call has announced an upcoming benefit performance of "The Savannah Sipping Society." The show runs this Friday and Saturday, May 7 and 8, at 6:30pm at the Elite Banquet and Event Center, 2820 S. Lafountain St., Kokomo.
In this comedy, four unique Southern women, all needing to escape the sameness of their day-to-day routines, are drawn together by Fate-and an impromptu happy hour-and decide it's high time to reclaim the enthusiasm for life they've lost through the years.
The play is directed by Maggie Duncan, and the cast includes Liz Harper as Jinx, Joyce Bower as Randa, Teresa Hershberger as Dot and Heather Maroney as Marlafaye.
Proceeds of the performance will, in part, benefit Curtain Call Theatre for Children and their new Curtain Call Studio.
Show is rated PG-13 for mild language and drinking.
Tickets are $25 and are by reservation only. Purchase tickets online at kcctc.booktix.com.
