About

The Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival is North America’s largest and longest-running Fringe Festival, returning for its 44th edition from August 14–24, 2025 in Old Strathcona, Edmonton, Alberta. It is one of the top five fringe festivals worldwide.

The festival hosts 200+ theatre productions across 30+ venues, featuring 1,600+ artists from local, national, and international backgrounds. It welcomes over 700,000 site visits annually and generates $16 million in local economic impact. The festival supports creative freedom, boundary-pushing performances, and accessibility, including a free KidsFringe program for children under 12.

Artists keep 100% of their ticket revenue, and fringe-goers can purchase tickets starting August 6, 2025.
